The musicians of 4BEAT6 are among the very best of the Dutch jazz scene. The band strives to authentic recreation of the repertoire of the legendary Benny Goodman sextet, from the period 1938-1942. In that sextet played Lionel Hampton, Gene Krupa, Teddy Wilson and Charlie Cristian. The high level of perfection of 4BEAT6, with clear articulation, excellent interplay, precise rhythms and irresistible playjoy, is also recognized and praised by connoisseurs like famous pianist Dick Hyman.
